• Silent Night:  If you are looking for some intense left hand practice or have an injury to your right hand, this is the Christmas carol for you! There are a few rolled chords in the right hand, but you can substitute (the top) single notes for them. Other than that, the right hand is very simple, and you can choose which finger to use while you rest your injured fingers. Also nice for those of us who love the bass notes on our harps.
• Taps, or Day Is Done:  This is a very simple arrangement with the exception of some rolled chords. If you find that your are having difficulty with them, simply play the chords solid, rather than rolled. But since this piece is played so slowly,  you may find it to be a good opportunity to learn how to play them!
• Let There Be Peace on Earth:  This piece only uses 26 strings, but has many lever changes. It is in the key of G (F must be sharp), and C levers are required.  You will notice that two lines of the song or omitted, not because they are difficult but because they have many repeated notes. If I had arranged this for a larger harp, I probably could have included them, using two different octaves to break up the repeated notes, but I am going more with smaller harp arrangements because I am enrolled in a harp therapy program. • Amazing Grace + Dona Nobis Pacem:  This arrangement includes the two songs plus a section in between them that uses the Amazing Grace chords with a little melody that I worked out. The Dona Nobis Pacem section is slightly more difficult and you will realize that your left hand plays the melody in a round or canon as you play through it. F levers are required, or you may tune  your harp to the key of G. You can play this piece on a 26 string harp.
• Lullaby Medley:  This piece in the key of G (F must be sharp) has no lever changes. However, it does have a wide range of notes, from the G 1.5 octaves below middle C all the way up to the C 2 octaves above middle C. This piece starts out with Rock-a-Bye Baby and then transitions to Brahms's Lullaby (sometimes called Cradlesong or Wiegenlied). This lullaby has some interesting left hand patterns that include part of the melody at times (which is indicated). Finally, you'll finish with Hush, Little Baby, which is easy to repeat to lengthen the music. Actually, it's simple to repeat any of the songs as desired.
